First is 7/8” tall with die-cut letters topped by a red star. The letters are “ASU” and we believe this represents American Student Union which was related to the Young Communist League c. 1936. Couple tiny dots of silver luster gone but o/w Exc. Second is muted silvery metal lapel stud with dark red bkg. paint. This is 11/16” tall picturing a star design plus a hammer and sickle. Initials are “I.C./P.S.U.” and we believe this stands for Internal Control & Professional Standards Unit which seems to be some bureaucratic group within several different Communist governments. This has a single dot of red paint gone but o/w Exc.
