Item Description
5.5x9.5x4" tall tin litho and hard plastic toy comes in box w/lid nicely illustrated on all sides. c. 1960s by Nomura Toys, Japan. Lid features great scenes of the bulldozer traveling on and over a lunar landscape. Scene on top features rocket ship positioned behind the bulldozer and in the bkg. is the Earth. Lt. box wear, left side panel has .5" surface paper rub but glossy and VF. Toy features "NASA" logos including on the uniform of the astronaut seated under dome cover. His upper body is tin litho while the head is vinyl. Also has clear plastic cover over motor. Has plastic treads and shovel which is operated manually by a crank. Toy works and travels around w/bump-and-go action as a clicking sound is produced, engine lights and flashes, astronaut moves side to side. N. Mint. Neat space toy.
