Item Description
Nine buttons ranging in size from 1.75” to 2-5/16”. These are all from the Levin Collection with his notations in removable ink on the reverse. First button in each of row 1 and row 2 both read “Support Dineh Hopi Unity.” Designs are the same but the one in the top row has heavier ink printing. Levin’s notes on the back of this read “Big Mountain Settlement/1986.” Row 1, #2 reads in part “Support Big Mountain Resistance” and this has 1986 date on reverse as does the following. In row 2, #2 the reverse reads “Hopi Navajo Re-Settlement Big Mountain 1986.” The remaining 4 are dated in order with 3 reading 1986 and the final in row 3 reading 1990. All are Exc. to Mint. From the Levin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
