Item Description
7x7x8" tall tin litho and hard plastic toy comes in box w/lid nicely illustrated on all sides. c. 1969 by Daishin Kogyo, Japan. Box has lt. aging, trace of edge wear, small inked stock number and store price on one side panel. Top center has a minor .25" tear only visible when viewed closely. Box still displays VF and comes w/original cardboard insert. Lunar module is very nicely designed and detailed including repeated "NASA" logo plus text "United States LM Apollo-11 Eagle." At one window is image of an astronaut. Toy features "Seven Automatic Actions" which are as described on the box "Mystery Action, Stop And Go, Automatic Open And Shut Hatch, Astronaut Comes In And Out, Revolving Antenna, Flashing Lights, Lunar Sound." Toy has scattered minute paint nicks but as produced. N. Mint. Great design and action.
