Books 1-4 are “Tarzan, Tarzan And Gloria, Tarzan And The Lion, Tarzan And The Elephants.” Books feature Sunday reprints with art by Hal Foster in all 4 plus some Hogarth art in book 4. Book 1 has 64 pages, all in bw. Remaining books all have 48 pages with contents of book 2 in both bw/color while remaining books feature art in rwb/full color. Format of most pages is 3 or 4 picture panels along with text though there are a number of full page illustrations throughout each book. All have nice cover art. Books 1-2 on front cover only, books 3-4 repeated on front and back. All copies have lt. trace of margin aging and varying degrees of handling wear, most evident along margins and at corners of covers. Book 1 shows more wear to covers with 1” dia. moisture stain at top margin. VG. Book 2 has tape reinforcement along spine and at corners. .75” and 1.25” spine splits. VG-. Book 3 shows lt. traces of wear and is nice, VF copy. Book 4 has minor tape residue stain on first and last inside blank pages but contents remain clean. VF.
