Item Description
9x12”, 16-page program for 1950 swimming spectacular starring Johnny Weissmuller, former Olympic swimmer and Tarzan star. Show featured such feats of aquatic skill as diving, tandem swimming and synchronized swimming. Synchronized swimmers were touted as the “Aquanymphs.” Weissmuller is pictured as Tarzan in bw photo on back cover, seen on front cover in art image surrounded by 6 mermaids. Program has moderate handling wear/aging with pinch creases to spine and color rubs. Signed in lower left of front cover in blue ink “Best Regards & Good Wishes Johnny Weissmuller - Tarzan.” VF overall with Exc. signature area. Comes with Hake’s COA.
