Item Description
22.75” tall by 41” long by 13.5” wide child’s riding toy. c. 1950s by Cass Toys. Unusual design with 2 wheels having brakes so toy can be bounced up and down in place. Brakes can be released to travel along while bouncing. Jig-sawed “head” with handles have “Trigger” decals. Seat has white image of Roy Rogers on Trigger with “Roy Rogers” ranch sign in bkg. Tin litho wheels have original rubber tires still secure on metal rims. All original with leather reins. Metal parts show some oxidation. Wood seat has moderate wear as does wooden horse head, but most of silk-screen and decals remain. Heavy wear to foot pedals. Aging to original leather straps but still pliable. Overall Fine for this type of toy with the expected amount of usage. First we’ve seen. Scarce.
