Item Description
In date of issue, first is 8” tall with elaborate brass and celluloid bar hanger accented by a pair of large brass tassels. Celluloid has a little tan tone to it as does the following matching ribbon bar but neither have spotting. Text on this above and below early pumper is “Fourth Annual Convention Western Penn’a/Firemen’s Asso’n Beaver Falls, Pa. August, 1897.” Little bit of gold coloring off the image of the pumper but fabric remains totally intact. Reverse has very unusual black and gold paper label from the maker showing a banner on a staff surrounding text “F.G. Reineman 222 6th St. Pittsburg Pa.” Second item has same bar pin as first and piece is 7.5” tall. Gold lettering has lost a little luster but all remains easily readable as “Fire Dep’t Sharpsburg, Pa/6th Annual Convention Western Penn’a Firemen’s Association Scottdale August, 1899.” Tiny split at lower left corner about 1” long. Reverse has large label by maker W&H. Third is 5.5” tall with “Delegate” badge at top. Celluloid insert on the brass has tanned but is not spotted. Gold text reads “11th Annual Convention/Cumberland Valley/1912 Waynesboro.” Suspended below is 1.75” real photo of man in fire uniform. This is stamped on reverse “Keystone Badge Co., Reading, Pa.” Badge has tiny 1/8” spot of cello making tiny bump at 7 o’clock. Overall all are VF.
