Item Description
Large silver luster badge 2.75” tall c. 1940s has red lettering with eagle holding “Fireman” ribbon while text surrounding image of hose truck at center reads “Vine Grove Kentucky.” A little loss of red from a few letters but vast majority remains and silver luster is N. Mint. Second item is 1-5/8” tall heavy brass badge with oval of large building at center. Text above and below reads “Underwriters’ Laboratories Inspected/Fire Chiefs June 5, 1918.” Apparently the company was hosting a convention. Tiny dot of green color showing in our photo is now completely cleaned off. Finish is N. Mint.
