Item Description
Lot of two, 3.5x5.5”. Late 20s/early 30s in the height of Folies Bergere performances and appearances. Superb pair of real photo post cards. Gorgeous images. From same series. Numbered “103/104.” Both photographer’s mark read “Walery Paris.” One shows famous banana outfit. Other with ostrich feathers. Both are unused. Banana outfit with slightly rounded corners/trace of aging on back. Still VF. Ostrich feather card with sharp corners is Exc. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
