Item Description
Pair of 7.75x9.75” vintage bw publicity photos, each showing great poses of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. Each has character name and “Hal Roach Comedies – Star Credit Appreciated – From Agnes O’Malley Hal Roach Studio” stamps on reverse. Third 7.75x10.25” vintage publicity photo shows Laurel & Hardy holding fellow Hal Roach/MGM star Spanky McFarland of Our Gang. McFarland wears a derby hat similar to Hardy’s and a matching mustache. .75x1.5”’ area of emulsion wear to area above Laurel’s head. All photos are c. 1930s and show margin wear which could be easily matted out for great display. VG/Fine overall. Photos come with vintage 1930s 3.5x5.5” real photo post card. Exc. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
