7” dia. vitreous china plate by D.F. McNicol of East Liverpool, OH. Plate bears sepia-toned photo image with mild color tinting showing Charlie Chaplin as he appeared in real life with his facsimile signature below. Gold stamp “Compliments Of B. O. Archer, Buffalo, Ohio” below. Polka dot/diamond accent design. c. 1920. Normal and typical all-over craze lines and scattered moderate aging to Chaplin’s forehead. Fine. Scarce. Comes with 8” long mini felt pennant with 1.25x1-7/8” bw photo image of Essanay star Charles Chaplin in his Little Tramp persona. c. 1915. Scattered aging with some lt. handling creases to photo image. VF. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
