5x7” browntone photo image table card features burlesque legend Sally Rand with her famous fans and has been signed in blue ink “To (illegible name) Sally Rand.” Back of card reads “Your Host J.E. McNichols Announces The Engagement Of The Incomparable Sally Rand In Her Sensational Dances Starting Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1942. Another Hit In Our ‘Spring Festival Of Stars’ Save This Card! Miss Rand Will Be Pleased To Meet Your Personally And Autograph This Picture For You At The Bar Or At Your Table.” Card was for Pocatello, ID. “Shamrock Club.” Pinch creases at top but clean and Exc. appearance. Comes with heavily worn 7x9” news service photo showing Rand in cowgirl outfit posed in front of 9 topless (though discreetly posed with cowboy hats) cowgirls. Photo has crop marks for printer and wear at margins but great image. Good/VG. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
