Item Description
8-1/8x10” vintage 1940s bw publicity photo shows Lionel Hampton behind his drum set. Bottom margin has “Lionel Hampton And His Orchestra” text and Joe Glaser manager name. Hampton has boldly signed on drum head in blue ink “Best Of Luck And Continued Success To Conchita Nakatani and Be Sa Me Mucho Lionel Hampton.” Corner tip wear with some creasing but could be framed for a VF display. As nice as any vintage Hampton signed photo we have seen. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
