Considered by many to be one of the best books on the hippie lifestyle and philosophy. Written by one of the founders of the New Journalism movement of the 1960s and 1970s. Great psychedelic images illustrate dust jacket. Dust jacket shows lt. wear with dust soiling and 1/8x5” streak at bottom of back. VF+. Page tops have faded blue from sun but book is N. Mint otherwise. Story chronicles the adventures of author Ken Kesey and his Merry Pranksters as they experiment with LSD and other drugs while listening to psychedelic rock in a school bus.
