Item Description
11” tall celluloid with painted tin wheeled platform base that has built-in key. Japan, 1930s. Stylized clown sits atop a ball and is designed with spiral collar, curved arms and each hand holds a ring. In front of the clown is elephant also atop a ball with second ball on end of trunk. Parasol attachment has attached bells, all strands intact but one strand is missing bottom segment and ball. Works and travels around in a circle as parasol spins and bells ring. Top of parasol has .5” hairline at center and tiny indent to ball on top. Rest of toy shows just lt. aging. VF.
