Pair of vintage 8x10” glossy stills. One is for 1933 original release of Mickey’s Gala Premiere and features great image of Mickey on stage with Greta Garbo who holds and kisses Mickey. Text on reverse describing the scene is in both English and Spanish. Moderate aging to reverse, scattered handling wear but glossy and Fine. Second still features small image of Mickey holding a giant scroll which reads “United Artists Wishes You A Happy New Year.” This is followed by 25 facsimile signatures of members of the United Artists family including Walt Disney, Mary Pickford, Charlie Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks, Eddie Cantor, others. Still is marked “UMM 282.” United Artists was the distributor of Disney cartoons from 1932 to 1937. Lt. corner tip wear. VF. Nice pair. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
