Item Description
Identical pair each 2.5x5.5”. This “money” is from the 1930s and was distributed at Mickey Mouse Club meetings held in movie theaters. Issued in denominations of one, five and ten. Both of these are "Ten" varieties. Typically found with text “Mickey Mouse Cones” on front bottom margin, however this has a specific issuer imprint of “Southern Dairies Ice Cream” (see Southern Dairies button #1232). Front of each features images of Mickey, Minnie and Pluto chasing after and holding money, similar images repeated on back along with different portraits of Mickey and Minnie. Lightly aged but Exc. Scarce imprint variety as well as scarce highest denomination.
