Item Description
Lot of two, each 8.5x11" on color stationery w/color printed characters around margin and text including "Coming For Christmas 1941/Paramount's Mr. Bug Goes To Town/Produced By Fleischer Studios." First shows ink and crayon illustration of man on bed w/doctor making adjustments using two large pliers. Doctor looks down to see dog w/bone in his mouth, doctor says "Now Where Did He Get That Bone?" Below illustration in ink is "To Doc Freider From Dave Fleischer." Second is done in pencil w/crayon coloring. Shows hand w/broken bone at base of middle finger, possibly traced from Fleischer's own hand. Text in pencil reads "Here You Are Doc. The Hand That's Feeding You/Dave Fleischer." Dave and Max Fleischer were considered Walt Disney's main rivels in the 1930s. Interesting and Exc.
