16.75x19.75” frame contains 11.5x14.5” 1970s glossy paper reproduction of the 1930s Street & Smith Publications advertising poster showing nice graphic of The Shadow’s face and text “The Strange Creature - Weird Avenger Of Crime.” Text at bottom states magazine is bi-monthly and lists cost of 10¢. “The Shadow Magazine” title logo appears at bottom right. Bottom margin of poster has been signed “To Tom From Walter B. Gibson - Maxwell Grant,” Gibson is the most recognized of The Shadow storytellers and has added his pen name of Maxwell Grant. Signature/inscription has faded but still remains legible. Poster has 5” crease in upper left corner with .25” chip that has been restored. Displays Fine/VF. Comes with Hake’s COA.
