Each is 6x9” with choice full color covers and 48 bw pages of humorous cartoons. Issued by the Barker-Moore & Mein Medicine Co., Philadelphia, PA. Two books promote horse, cattle & poultry powder, other 2 promote Barker’s Nerve And Bone Liniment. c. early 1900s. Extremely well drawn with nice graphics though contents do include some stereotypical black characters. Published by Hayes Litho Co., Buffalo, NY. Comes with one original but tattered envelope. Fair. Book 2 has 3” crease on one inside page but o/w books are Exc. with great design and bright cover color. Seldom found in this high grade condition.
