Auction #201 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1408 in auction 201
Item Description
2.75” dia. by 3.5” tall. Images of Roosevelt and Cermak in ovals with eagle and torch in between. The World’s Fair opened May 27, 1933 a few months after Cermak was shot in Miami on Feb. 15th while riding in a car with FDR. He died of his wounds March 6, 1933. This glass was likely made in advance of his death since it is not “memorial” in nature. See next item. Trace of wear. Exc.
