Item Description
The autographed items are mostly from his 1968-1972 presidential campaign and are signed “George C. Wallace.” These consist of: A) 4x5x.75” deep wood block with inset pair of aluminum tokens with his portrait and slogans “America’s Fighting Governor/Let The People Speak/Stand Up In America.” He signed on the top of the wood block; B) three unusual bumper stickers about 11” long; C) two litho 3” campaign buttons; D) 1983 Governor of Alabama inaugural program (8.5x11”); E) full color card from his later years. This includes name of person card was signed for. These came with six Wallace Foundation 8.5x11” letterheads titled “Certificate Of Authenticity” and state Wallace signed item Feb. 24, 1996 at his office at the “George And Lurleen Wallace Center For The Study Of Southern Politics.” Also included is 6x9” inaugural program for his wife’s inauguration as Governor Jan. 16, 1967. This has her facsimile signature on cover. All items are essentially Mint. Comes with Hake’s COA.
