Item Description
Each 3.5x5.5”. First is oval image of “C.O. Pratt/Union And Justice” chairman, General Executive Board of Amalgamated Association of Street and Electric Railway Employees of America. Card issue c. 1910. Time of Philadelphia streetcar workers strike and published by Keystone in Philadelphia. Unused. VF. Second is “Striking Employees Of The Columbus Railway & Light Co., Columbus, Ohio/North Side State Capitol.” A very large number of striking employees are pictured with banners that read “Walk/And Force The/Company/To Arbitrate.” Also “Cleveland/Delegation/St. Ry. Union.” Pencil notation and postal cancellation 1910. 1.5” old clear tape repair on back. Not apparent on front. Both display VF.
