Lot of 3 oversized 12.5x16.5” lobby cards for the Spanish release in Mexico of the 1953 film “The War Of The Worlds.” Film was produced by George Pal and directed by Byron Haskin and was the first film adaptation of H. G. Wells’ classic sci-fi story. Film was released in Mexico by Cinema International Corp. Great and colorful cards feature classic illustration of large alien hand reaching from space towards cringing human couple. Space ships attack city at right. Each card has 5.75x7.5” bw photo image insert showing scenes from film, all 3 showing the iconic Martian space ships. Lt. handling/aging but Exc. overall.
