Item Description
Lot of 24, all from the Warren Publishing Co. archives. Comes with envelope that has inked notations “War Of The Worlds/Reprise 10 Pages 35-44 FM (referring to Famous Monsters of Filmland) #140 Plus More Pix Herewith.” Fifteen are 8x10” glossies, 11 of which have 1952 Paramount Pictures Corp. copyright and film text on bottom margins. Others are smaller sizes ranging from 3” to 4” to 4.5x8”. A few have inked notations regarding page number and size reproduction. Great assortment of images from this all-time sci-fi classic including many showing the Martian War Machines. Two feature concept art, all others are photo images. Overall lot is VF to Exc.
