Item Description
15/16” listed as DeWitt 1860-97. Rims read “Abraham Lincoln 1860/Hannibal Hamlin 1860.” Each ferrotype has only the very slightest traces of wear largely visible just with magnification. The Lincoln image is exceptionally bright and sharp. Brass rim has outstanding, N. Mint luster. Rim hole as made. A classic ferrotype but quite scarce in this outstanding condition.
