Item Description
Brass frame is .75x1-1/16”. Text is on the photo above their images. 1868 seems to be the first year this cardboard jugate in a brass frame design was used. Hake book shows several similar but in horizontal format. Also see item #238, the Seymour/Blaire jugate mate to this piece. Tiny general age tone on the photo but still extremely clean and with N. Mint brass luster. Reverse has 1.25” vertical pin.
