Item Description
Hake #189. Brass insect is 1.25” tall and 1.5” wide when the wings fly open. Both photos are original. A narrow white line alongside each image is caused by a rub by the bug’s mid-body legs as the wings fly open. However, photos o/w remain very clean with their natural varnished finish. The bug has nice brass luster and the mechanical function works perfectly and easily, unlike so many examples. VF. From the Morry Greener Collection.
