Item Description
This unlisted item is 4.25” tall with 1.75” real photo celluloid showing and reading “For Governor Edwin S. Stuart.” The cello has a solid metal back with top edge attached to a gold text on red fabric ribbon with a 2.5” long vertical stickpin on the reverse. The red fabric has about a dozen very tiny color dots off or a dot where there is a little darkness but overall condition remains Fine and the gold text is largely intact reading top to bottom “Roosevelt Republicans/For Governor/Edwin S. Stuart/Lieut. Governor/Robert F. Murphy/And The Whole Ticket.” Ribbon is Fine while the celluloid is essentially Mint. Only example we’ve seen. There is a trio of 7/8” buttons picturing TR and giving his endorsement to candidate Stuart. From the Morry Greener Collection.
