Item Description
3.5x5.5” titled “Tried-And Not Found Wanting” has interesting photo of team players on clothesline in cartoon socks with inset photo at lower left of President Chas. Comiskey. Right side has nice photo of Capt. Fielder Jones swinging bat. Reverse side has text “Compliments Of Morrison Hotel And Boston Oyster House Madison And Clark Street Chicago.” The Sox won the World Series the year before in 1906 and this card is ©1907 Geo. W. Hull. Trace of lt. dust soil with a few moisture marks and white foxing plus .25” area along right side. Upper right corner tip a bit rounded. VG appearance.
