Item Description
Six items. c. early 1900s. Softcover book is 7.5x10” with 10 inside pages. Front cover has nice graphics of woman in swirling robe with light glowing in her hands. Contents include nice centerfold art by Biedermann showing crowded park and numerous photos and text descriptions of park attractions. Last inside page credits “Edison Electric Illuminating Co. of Brooklyn” for magnificent lighting. Book covers have come totally loose with scattered lt. dust soil on covers along with some creasing and small edge tears. Book overall Good but great text and images. Postcards are each 3.5x5-3/8”. Three show the “Heart Of Coney Island” entrance, one shows restaurant and one shows aerial swings ride. One postcard is postally used and written on front, other 4 have lt. wear around edges and corner tips. Overall Good/Fine. Interesting group. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
