c. 1900. 11-3/8x13-3/8” wooden frame has 9.25x11.25” board in center with attached 6x7-7/8” real photo showing female palm reader seated at table wearing long dress with young boy seated across from her and 2 little girls nearby in chairs. Signs include “Palmist/Palmistry/Readings In German & English.” No idea where photo was taken, possibly Coney Island. Interesting photo with all 4 people looking at viewer. Frame has scattered lt. wear. Fine. Mount has trace of edge wear most noticeable at lower left corner. Fine. Image has very st. fade. VF. Attractive image ready for display. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
