3-5/8x6.5” envelope has Nov. 6, 1961 Springfield, Mass. postmark at top of front along with 4¢ commemorative stamp. Bottom has June 30, 1985 Basketball Hall of Fame Springfield, Ma. cancellation mark with 22¢ stamp. Reverse side has 1991 Springfield, Mass. cancellation with 29¢ basketball stamp. Front is nicely signed in ink (some adding college names) by John Wooden UCLA/Purdue, Red Auerbach, H.P. Iba Okla. State, Ralph Miller Oregon St., Clarence Gaines Winston-Salem, Red Holtzman, Dick Motta, Gene Shue, Ray Myer DePaul, Jack Ramsay and Bill Fitch. Envelope contains “Basketball” insert card with text history of game. Card is a bit tanned. Envelope is clean and Exc. Comes with Hake’s COA.
