Shrubb The Running Champion, Tommy Burns The Famous Boxer, C.B. Frey The All-Round Athlete, Annette Kellerman Champion Lady Swimmer, Dr. W.G. Grace The Famous Cricketer, Geo. Hackenschmidt The King of Wrestlers, Montague Holebein Long Distance Swimmer and Eugene Sandow The Ideal Athlete. Postcard is titled “Some Popular Athletes” at bottom with #7121-E issued by Rotary Photo, E.C. Reverse side has attached clipping about Cricketer Grace, o/w unused and VF. Nice combination of early sports legends. Wonderful images. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
