Item Description
8.75x41” wood frame has 6-7/8x38-7/8” opening revealing wonderful scene of crowded baseball park with 2 teams seated on field. Game was held May 28, 1920 at Massillon, Ohio between Agathons-Semi Pro Champions – Ohio & Penn and Cuban Stars – Champions of Cuba. Score noted between Agathons “3-3.” Score beneath Cuban team “1-1.” Lower right has photo credit “Lonas Bair Massillon. O.” Photo has scattered age toning with a few moisture marks here and there. Light age yellowing. VG, but displays Fine as framed. Wonderful image ready for display. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
