Item Description
By Nomura, Japan c. 1960. 12” tall tin litho with hard vinyl arms and hard plastic interior head. Originally came in box which read “Space Robot With TV Camera And Screen.” Great detailing on body including dolls and gauges and designated “X-70.” Tin litho head is in 3 sections which open to reveal head unit with camera that has 3 lenses plus screen which has space scene. Tin body has moderate scattered wear including paint nicks, scratches and small traces of oxidation. Hard plastic arms may be replacements. Works. Spring head mechanism works so panels stay closed when supposed to. Displays nicely with clean battery compartment. VG. Scarce.
