Item Description
4.5x5x12” tall painted tin robot by Yoshiya, Japan, 1950s. Robot is designed with radar antennas on head, plastic accent pieces on chest, eyes and top of head. Has cream-colored head with claw hands. Lid to battery box has some professional paint restoration to areas at top that had oxidation as well as bottom rim of skirt on reverse. Battery box terminals have been refreshed by filing. One side of finish of battery box has a few oxidation spots but these have stabilized. Displays Fine in back. Front displays Exc. and toy works well. Great design.
