Item Description
The earliest and largest piece depicts a jockey on horseback, both in metallic colors and with a stem making the piece 5” long by 2.5” tall. Small luster loss but still extremely Fine and quite early. The other 7 pieces all include advertising. The smallest of these is the 1-3/16” round tin whistle inscribed “Peters Weatherbird Shoes.” This has some general wear on the top illustrated surface. Underside is plain tin. Additional pieces top to bottom and left to right are “Calling Dr. Nut”/”Weather Bird Shoes” (moderate paint wear) figural rooster/pair of “Whistle” drink whistles both of the same design but in 2 distinctive blue bkg. colors/”Curtiss Baby Ruth” candy bar whistle/”Peters Weatherbird Shoes” larger version whistle. A nice group VF or better with minor exceptions noted.
