5-5/8x8.25” hardcover published by Gnome Press ©1951 with 258 pages. Dust jacket has art by David Kyle showing multitude of space ships going to and from star galaxy. Backcover of dust jacket is illustrated with 3 books including this one and the Sword Of Conan by Robert E. Howard. Back inside flap shows 2 other books including “Typewriter In The Sky” and “Fear” by L. Ron Hubbard. Dust jacket is heavily worn with some creasing, edge wear, dust soil and is missing 1” piece at bottom of spine. Inside has a few strips of archival tape to repair tears on spine and backcover. Fair. Book cover has a few scattered white spots here and there on front, back and spine. Outside page edges have lt. dust soil. Blank inside covers have lt. tanning here and there. Fine. Despite problems, still a very scarce book by a noted science fiction author.
