Item Description
11x14” title card for 1926 MGM film directed by Tod Browning (director of Dracula and Freaks) starring Lon Chaney Sr. as “The Blackbird,” a thief who uses a second identity. This is an original 1926 release title card. Card has staple holes at top third with 1/8” areas of surface flakes, including one on Chaney’s cap. Card has some handling wear with small tears along right margin with archival tape repair to reverse. Card is tanned with age and VG. All material for this film is rarely seen. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
