Item Description
1.75” beautiful multicolor of large ship on wavy lake waters with logo below “C&B Line.” The ship has great detail that needs magnification to be appreciated fully but including numerous flags flying in the wind, company name on bow, tiny city of Erie text below paddle wheel near the stern. Black smoke comes from a single stack and the bkg. is comprised of white clouds with text “The Flyer Of The Lakes/Connecting Cleveland And Buffalo ‘While You Sleep’.” The reverse is missing a W&H paper used 1900-1912. Extreme upper left edge of the button has just the tiniest pale gray series of age dots but barely perceptible. About 99% of the button displays in gorgeous Mint condition with high gloss. Couple of exceedingly tiny raised pinpoint dots noticeable only to the touch or in reflected light. A beautiful and scarce button.
