Item Description
17x24” oil painting on canvas has wonderful action scene of masked rider on horseback holding lariat in left hand and firing pistol in right hand which hits outlaw’s rifle in foreground. Art is unsigned, but likely by noted pulp artist George Rozen (1895-1974). Reverse side has small pencil text “16” at upper right corner. Circa 1940s. Left side has narrow 6.5” color rub at horse’s head, lower right side has bit of wear in 5.5” area at corner. Some aging and dust soil but painting will frame to VF appearance. Wonderful action scene.
