Lot of three 6.25x9.25” pulps published by Popular Fiction Publishing Co. Included are Apr., 1926, May, 1928 and May, 1929 issues. First cover has great image of woman being attacked by and stabbing werewolf with wolf image in bkg. Issue includes “The Outsider” story by H. P. Lovecraft and “Wolfshead” story by Robert E. Howard. Next issue shows woman being carried away by “The Bat-Men Of Thorium” from a story by Bertram Russell. Issue also has Robert E. Howard story “Sea Curse” as well letter praising Lovecraft’s “Call Of Cthulhu.” Last issue features masked villain about to toss bare-breasted redhead to crocodile. Issues show obvious wear with first issue having .75” of corner off bottom right including covers and pages. About Good. Rest of issues are Good overall. Apr., 1926 issue books for as high as $1,000 in Fine condition and is a very desirable issue. “Bookery’s Guide To Pulp & Related Magazines” value in stated conditions = $320.
