Back of manual has choice illustration of Captain Midnight, Uncle Sam and 2 parents looking down on group of children including boy and girl scouts, all drinking Ovaltine. Text reads “All Working Together To Make America Strong.” Manual has only lt. wear from handling but a clean and VF copy. The beautifully designed badge has American flags flanking the actual bw real photo of Captain Midnight inserted at the top. Lower decoder area is designed as an airplane engine with propeller. Original photos are scarce as kids were instructed to remove the Captain’s photo and insert one of themselves. Bright luster off all but decoder’s center wheel. Fine. Photo remains Mint.
