Extensive lot of 30 in total all from the Warren Publishing Co. archives. Eight are 8x10” glossies for 1951 film When Worlds Collide. Film was based on the 1933 science fiction novel by Wylie and Balmar. Rest of this lot is for “Kronos” 1957 science fiction movie known also as "Ravager of Planets/Destroyer of the Universe." In the years since its release, the film has been widely praised both for its above average storyline and its far-sighted portrayal of the consequences of over-consumption of natural and man-made resources. Eleven are vintage stills with copyright and cast information on bottom margins, the other 11 are additional photographic prints probably of later vintage showing the gigantic machine “Kronos.” Scattered wear, overall lot is VG to Exc. Comes in envelope with hand-written note “Kronos The Planetoid Of Peril/12 Columns Available.” Jaggedly opened, VG.
