Item Description
1-3/8" litho c. 1950 with large text imprint on reverse by Olympic Button & Emblem Co. of NYC. Back of the button has a dark stain mark on its left-hand side but only covering about 5% of the total surface. A little of this staining is also on the curled edge of the button but almost none shows on the button's front although this does have a slightly creamy yellow tone all over except for a small white area beneath the letter "I" at the top. Fine. One of the few buttons issued to promote the Hopalong Cassidy daily comic strip. Rare.
