Item Description
9x11.75x1.25” deep nice quality plaque constructed of painted wood with metal plate on front that has high relief ceramic attachment designed like the exterior façade of Space Mountain. Images above this are of the space themed roller coaster with cars full of excited people flying through space with moon, planets and stars in the bkg. Text under the attachment reads “Space Mountain Official Astronaut Inaugural Flight At Disneyland Summer, 1977.” The first Space Mountain attraction appeared at Disney World in 1975. In later years this attraction was also added to Tokyo, Paris and Hong Kong. This plaque was produced in limited quantities and available only to select media and invited guests. Comes in original generic white cardboard box which is worn and just comes along. Plaque itself is N. Mint. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
