Item Description
c. 1910. 3.75x6" paper envelope with text printed in French roughly translating to "Champions of Aviation" comes with nine postcards, each 3.5x5.5". Each has nice photo of plane with inset photo of pilot at bottom. Pilots and planes include Aubrun-Bleriot, Trouville-Le Havre, Le Blanc-Bleriot (two different), Morane-Bleriot, Kuller-Antoinette, De Lesseps-Bleriot, Legagneux-H. Farmen, Letham-Antoinette. Paper envelope is heavily wore. Poor. One Le Blanc postcard has tanning on lower right 1/3. Fine. Rest of cards are VF/Exc. Postally unused. One Le Blanc-Bleriot card has attached paper seal for "Grand Meeting Aviation" at lower left of front. Nice assortment relating to early aviation history.
