Item Description
5.75x9 1/8 x5" deep cigar box c. 1934. Lid top has nice art of Winnie Winkle in center surrounded by palm trees with text at lower right "By Permission M. M. Branner". Inside lid has same image in superb full color design along with text promoting cigars "Now 2 For 5 Cents". Front box flap folds down with text promoting cigar. Side panels have text "Winnie Winkle Now 2 for 5 Cents". Box has scattered lt. wear most noticeable around edges of surface paper missing half of " NRA Code" label on front panel. Fine. Inner lid label is a bit worn at bottom but otherwise VF. Nice display item.
